In this series, I explore the emotional power of metaphor and the narrow divide between what is real and made up, using travel memories as a tool. 

The suitcase is not only a physical carrier of belongings but a metaphorical preserver of memory. The collected stickers on the surface are made-up representations of places and activities, but the emotions they conjure up are very real and quick – in an instant, they bring us back to the sights, smells and feelings associated with a travel destination. It is this telegraphic tendency of memory that Curious Souls explores.
